At Inline, building strong communities extends beyond the projects we deliver. It includes investing in the people and opportunities that shape tomorrow. We’re proud to support initiatives that expand access to education, encourage leadership, and create lasting impact across the communities where we live and work.

Partnering with Indspire

Through Indspire’s Building Brighter Futures: Bursaries, Scholarships and Awards program, Inline is honoured to support Indigenous students across Canada as they pursue post-secondary education and their career goals. Since 1996, Indspire has awarded more than $280 million to over 84,000 students nationwide. The program reflects Indspire’s vision: to enrich communities by enhancing Indigenous achievement and education. This vision aligns closely with Inline’s own values of growth, opportunity, and long-term impact.

Celebrating the Inline Group Indspire Award Recipients

Last year, we were proud to recognize two exceptional students whose dedication and vision reflect the spirit of this partnership:

Jasmine Chobotuik

Jasmine is a Métis student completing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Calgary. She shared that receiving this scholarship has had a significant impact on her education, allowing her to focus fully on her studies and motivating her to continue working hard.

As a young Indigenous woman in engineering, where women, and especially Indigenous women, remain underrepresented, Jasmine is driven to make a meaningful impact in the profession. Following graduation, she hopes to begin her career at a civil engineering firm where she can contribute to community-focused and sustainable infrastructure projects, while working toward her Professional Engineer designation.

Graeme Perrie

Graeme is a fourth-year student at the University of Manitoba, currently in his second year of civil geotechnical engineering studies. His academic path included exploring multiple disciplines before finding his passion in civil engineering—a decision he describes as transformative.

Throughout his studies, Graeme has gained hands-on experience, shaping his goal of pursuing a career in the construction and consulting industry, where he hopes to help design and build spaces that bring families and communities together across the province.

Graeme shared that this bursary has eased financial pressures during the academic year, allowing him to focus on his coursework rather than basic expenses. It has also given him valuable time to spend with family and loved ones—support he describes as essential to staying on track with his education and future goals.

Investing in Brighter Futures

Jasmine and Graeme exemplify the determination, adaptability, and community-minded values that the Building Brighter Futures program was created to support. Their stories reinforce the importance of investing in education as a pathway to stronger communities and a more inclusive future.

Inline is grateful to Indspire for its continued leadership in advancing Indigenous education and we’re proud to support students whose ambitions will help shape the communities of tomorrow.
