Inline is committed to establishing and growing mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous Peoples across Canada, recognizing and respecting their inherent rights to land and resources. We’ve developed partnerships with Indigenous communities near our major projects, ensuring economic benefits, training and career opportunities, as well as scholarships for further education through IndSpire.

Mikisew Cree First Nation partnership

Enoch Cree Nation

Inline Group has established a partnership throughout Treaty Six Territory with Enoch Cree Nation, the Cree name for Enoch being Maskêkosihk (pronounced Muss-Kay-Go-Sik), which translates as “people of the land of medicine”. This relationship has allowed us to work successfully on many projects together, most notably, the Trans Mountain Pipeline and the Cascade Power Project.

Mikisew Cree First Nation

Formed in 2023, Mikisew Inline is a partnership between Mikisew Group, the distinct business entity of the Mikisew Cree First Nation, and Inline Group, covering all work in Mikisew’s Traditional Territory in Treaty Eight, creating employment and financial opportunities for all members of the Nation. Mikisew Inline provides geotechnical field services, materials testing, and surveying services throughout the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, serving the energy, mining, power generation, and infrastructure sectors.

Gitga'at Nation

Gitga’at Inline Group Technical Services Inc. is an Indigenous majority-owned Joint Venture Partnership between Inline Group and Gitga’at Development Corporation, the business arm of the Gitga’at Nation. While many Gitga’at members live and work in Prince Rupert, others reside in Terrace, Kitimat, Prince George, Vancouver, Victoria, and beyond. With a great deal of Inline’s work taking place within Gitga’at Territory, this partnership fosters shared prosperity for both Inline and the Gitga’at Nation.

Touchwood Agency Tribal Council

Inline has an established Indigenous partnership with Touchwood Agency Tribal Council (TATC), the economic delivery organization formed to represent the Kawacatoose, Day Star, and Muskowekwan First Nations. This partnership encompasses all Treaty Four projects which we are currently executing work on, or intend to execute work on, creating employment, community investment, and financial opportunities for members of all three Nations of the TATC.

Michipicoten First Nation

The Michipicoten First Nation has traditionally inhabited the lands along Lake Superior and the region surrounding the mouth of the Michipicoten River, with additional lands gained through various land claim settlements. As Inline expanded operations into Ontario, building a relationship with the Nation became a priority. Our partnership delivers meaningful benefits to both Michipicoten First Nation and Inline as we continue to collaborate on projects together.

Paqtnkek Mi'kmaw Nation

Inline has a five-year partnership with Bayside Development Corporation, the business arm of Paqtnkek Mi’kmaw Nation in Nova Scotia. This partnership allows the Nation to benefit from projects within their traditional territory. The name Paqtnkek means “by the bay”, which emphasizes the importance of the local bay, the environment, and its resources to the Mi’kmaw people. At Inline we are committed to respecting and supporting their relationship to the land, while creating lasting employment and economic opportunities for the Nation.

Musqueam Indian Band

Inline has partnered with Musqueam Capital Corporation (MCC), the economic development arm of the Musqueam Indian Band, to support projects within Musqueam Territory in British Columbia. Through this collaboration, we work together to deliver geotechnical field services for a variety of projects. By combining MCC’s focus on sustainable economic growth with Inline’s technical expertise, we create opportunities for local employment, skills development, and long-term community investment—advancing shared goals for economic prosperity today and for future generations.
