Project Details
The Blackwater Mine Project is a large-scale open-pit gold and silver operation in central British Columbia, located approximately 110 km south of Vanderhoof. Designed with processing facilities capable of handling 60,000 tonnes of ore per day, the project has a projected mine life of 17 years. Representing one of the most significant capital investments in the Bulkley-Nechako, Fraser-Fort George, and Cariboo regions in the last decade, the mine is positioned as a transformative development for the province’s mining sector.
Inline has been involved since the early development phases, beginning in 2022 with specialized bush flagging services for Artemis Gold. This early scope required advanced safety training and extensive snowmobile travel to navigate remote terrain during clearing operations. As construction advanced, Inline’s role expanded significantly, supporting Bird Construction with survey services for civil and concrete scopes. Our team provided high-precision layout and verification for the development of processing infrastructure, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Inline’s proven reliability and consistent performance led to additional contracts from other clients engaged on the Blackwater project, reflecting the quality of the work performed and the trust earned on site. Throughout the project, our crews maintained a strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship while commuting up to three hours daily on remote logging roads to meet demanding construction schedules.
