Project Details
The Air Products Edmonton Site 3 Project is a cornerstone initiative in developing a world-scale net-zero hydrogen energy complex in Alberta’s capital. Positioned to make Edmonton the hub of western Canada’s hydrogen economy, the facility will feature large-scale hydrogen production and liquefaction capabilities, a hydrogen-fueled power generation unit, and integration with Imperial Oil’s renewable diesel plant. Built with sustainability at its foundation, the project incorporates carbon capture and storage (CCS) and renewable energy to achieve near-zero emissions, reinforcing Canada’s role as a leader in the global energy transition.
Inline is supporting this transformative project through collaborations with Graham, PCL, and Aecon, delivering multidisciplinary expertise in geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and survey services. Our geotechnical and materials testing team performed slope stability assessments to ensure safe and reliable construction in variable soil conditions, along with compaction, soil, concrete, fillcrete, and grout testing to verify compliance with engineering standards. Inline’s surveyors established and monitored control networks to maintain accuracy across all scopes, providing comprehensive survey support for layouts and as-builts to ensure precision throughout construction. Complementing these efforts, our AutoCAD specialists design and drafting services integrated field data directly into construction documentation, supporting coordination and quality assurance across project teams.
