Project Details
As part of the LNG Canada (LNGC) development—one of Canada’s largest energy infrastructure projects—Inline provided survey support to Bird Construction for the buildout of several critical non-process buildings at the Kitimat site. These included administrative facilities, warehouses, laboratories, and change rooms, each essential for supporting LNGC’s long-term operations and workforce.
Inline delivered services across multiple phases of the project, ensuring precision, safety, and reliability throughout construction. Our work began with site preparation and stability assessments, including ground stability load testing to confirm that each building footprint met strict engineering and safety standards. Inline also installed and monitored settlement gauges to detect and track ground movement over time. During construction, our team provided comprehensive survey support for both above-ground structures and the extensive underground utility networks, executing pile layouts, control establishment, and precise as-built documentation. We ensured accuracy across large volumes of concrete and formwork, where high levels of coordination were critical to meeting project tolerances. In addition, UAV mapping and aerial monitoring were deployed to assist with progress tracking and project reporting, delivering valuable data visualization for client review and construction management.
